Telebasis digiticollis (Marsh Firetail)

This is another that has a terrible twin: T. levis (Hyacinth Firetail). Both have bright red lips [a.k.a. labrum] and red eyes. A subtle difference in the length of the cerci compared to the paraprocts differentiates the two. I used Dennis Paulson.

All these specimens are from La Selva Biological Station.
